Dr. Tim Calahan brings more than 30 years of professional experience, including over 25 years in healthcare and 15 years in management consulting. With a strong engineering foundation and advanced business training, he is known for translating complex technology decisions into clear, executable strategies, rescuing technology projects, and setting strategic roadmaps for digital transformation. His extensive expertise lies in cloud transformation, including hosting Epic on the cloud. 

Most recently, Tim served as Chief Technology Officer at Michigan Medicine, where he led enterprise technology strategy and major cloud modernization initiatives, including its Epic and Sectra migrations to public cloud. Prior to Michigan Medicine, he was CTO of Virtustream Healthcare Cloud, where he led the creation of the first private cloud platform purpose-built for Epic and was recognized as a finalist for CRN Innovative Product of the Year in 2017 and 2018.  

Mitch Duff brings over 20 years of healthcare IT experience, including 16 years focused on Epic. Mitch is a pioneer in architecting and delivering Epic on the public cloud.

Previously, he served as a Global Black Belt at Microsoft, where he co-authored the Epic on Azure reference architecture, and held leadership roles at Virtustream and CDW, specializing in healthcare cloud migrations. Mitch’s expertise ensures seamless cloud transitions and innovative solutions for healthcare organizations.

Charles Knight has over 24 years of healthcare IT experience, with 17 years focused on Epic implementation, strategy and advisory for some of the largest hospital systems. Charles oversees daily operations and managed services, ensuring clients achieve operational excellence.

Previously, Charles held leadership roles at Virtustream, where he was responsible for customer success for the Virtustream Healthcare Cloud, and Microsoft, where he supported Epic on Azure implementations. His deep experience in implementation, strategy, and cloud transformation positions him as a trusted advisor to healthcare organizations.

Dan Kalina is an accomplished healthcare technology consultant with over 15 years of experience in sales strategy and consulting. He played a pivotal role in launching the first private healthcare cloud purpose-built for Epic at Virtustream and later helped develop Microsoft’s Epic on Azure Center of Excellence.

Dan specializes in building longstanding, trusted relationships, fostering channel partnerships, and empowering healthcare organizations to adopt transformative cloud solutions.

Luke Yerkovich guides healthcare organizations through public cloud strategies, ensuring preparedness for cloud migrations. With over a decade of healthcare IT experience, Luke was part of the original Virtustream team that built the first healthcare private cloud for Epic earning him multiple awards at Dell Technologies.

Luke’s expertise bridges business objectives with technical strategy, giving health system executives and technical teams the clarity and confidence to move forward with their digital transformation journeys.

Sara Strom is an award-winning marketing leader who specializes in helping high-growth healthcare organizations build a strong marketing foundation while maximizing their marketing investments.

Previously, Sara built marketing strategies from the ground up at twenty30 health, a comprehensive solution for obesity and metabolic care, and Panda Health, where hospitals and leading digital health companies connect for optimal results. She also led marketing programs at VigiLanz, rated as the #1 clinical surveillance software among US-based hospitals.

Sara was recognized as Marketer of the Year in 2025 and 2022 by Swaay.Health and won a 2018 Healthcare Marketing Impact Award by Modern Healthcare and AdAge.
